RemARKable Going Green Blog Tour – eggcellent eggs hostess gift

Published by INKspired Crafting under Uncategorized

I can not go into a dollar store without coming home with great finds to use and embellish with Stampin’ up!   products. The problem is, I have accumulated so many items that I have made a goal to use what I have before buying more. So my project tonight uses one of those “great finds” that I had sitting on my shelf.

First I took out the diffuser and embellished it with the Eggcellent egg kit on page 23 in the mini occasions catalog

Eggcellent egg kit contains:
■ White Rub-Ons (two 6″x 6″ sheets)
■ Printed, die-cut egg stands (24)
■ Clear self-adhesive rhinestones (one 6″ x 6″ sheet)
■ Die-cut flowers, 4 sheets (one 6″ x 6″ sheet each of 4 colors)
■ Die-cut leaves (one 6″ x 6″ sheet)

close up of diffuser..it’s hard to see but i did use the rub on’s around the bottom of the diffuser

I also used the box that the diffuser came in and covered the box with shades of spring Designer paper , wrapped nugget candies with DSP and put a belly band around the box. I also punched out 5 flowers with XL fancy flower punch, scrunched them up and put a filigree brad thru the middle.

So I now have 2 hostess gifts for upcoming workshops

I hope I have inspired you to look at what you have in your home that you can use in your crafting projects. Have a terrific weekend. To continue to the next stop on the tour click below.

RemARKable Going Green Blog Tour – Day 2 hopping aboard the Rag quilt purse train

Wow the projects shown by my fellow teammates yesterday were great. I have great ideas to use for future projects. I hope you are getting some great ideas too.

For today’s projects I am featuring projects that are green in color. This first project is a  scrapbook page that was originally designed by my upline Diane Carr. I used the same layout and used some new products  from Stampin Up’s occasions mini catalog to embellish the page. Now I just have to find pictures to finish the page off.

Paper: Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Cottage wall designer paper

Ink: Orchid opulence. Markers: old olive, orchid opulence & rich razzleberry.

Stamp sets: close as a memory, Good Friend

Big shot: SU Beautiful Wings Embosslit dies pg 24 in occasions mini, scallop trim border punch pg 9 in sale a bration catalog. This punch is free with a 50.00 order from your SU demonstrator. tag from matchbox pg 201 in SU idea book & catalog. The butterflys have a little bling in the middle~rhinestones were taken from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit on pg 23 in occasions mini catalog.

I wanted to make the rag quilt purse that everyone seems to be making these days using the Big shot and the scallop square bigz die , but knew my schedule wouldn’t allow it for a while. So  fellow SU demonstrator Marisol Guterriez  had an offer on her blog that I took her up on. I love it I have been showing it off wherever I go!!! I will be doing a class in the future where you can make your own. In the meantime if you must have one now,  contact Marisol Guteriez @ http://atouchofsol.blogspot.com/

She tucked a fabric flower pin inside…this can be easily made with your leftover scraps, which keeps with the going green theme. The middle of the flower is a SU corduroy brad( pg 181 in idea book and catalog )and the flower is cut out with SU flower folds bigz xl dies.

Thanks for stopping by. Click on picture below to go to the next stop on the tour. See you on Saturday for another going green project.

RemARKable Going Green Blog Tour – Day 1 recycling baby food jar and general food international container

Published by INKspired Crafting under Uncategorized

Welcome back for another RemARKable tour. The tour will take you to fellow RemARKable  demonstrators blogs with projects made with a Going Green theme. This theme was left open for our interpretation of what going green is. I am excited to see everyones  interpretation of the theme, as well as the projects. You are sure to find something to be inspired by.  Check back daily over the next 3 days where we will be posting new projects every day.

I have been saving General foods international coffee containers and this theme helped to inspire me to make something with the containers.

I took DSP from shades of spring and then covered the can and embellished the front with stamp from the Eggcoutraments stamp set that is available in the Stampin Up occasions mini catalog. I made some 3×3 cards to go in the container and this will be one of my door prizes for an upcoming workshop.

The next project originally was created by fellow team member Jennifer Spencer. I love how she used an old baby food jar and made the top into a pin cushion. I embellished the front with a flower that I punched out with the new Extra large flower punch on page 10 of the occasions mini and used a flower brad from pg 179 of the big idea book and catalog. I am storing the rest of the flower brads and filigree brads in them . I want to make more of these jars and store my buttons and other assortments of brads.

Thanks for stopping by. To get to the next stop on the tour click on the box below. Be sure to stop by tomorrow where my project has alot of green in it!!

Loving Sweet Pea designer paper

I used various paper from the paper stack, along with flower punch and new satin Ribbon. Cards were very simple and went together in under 10 minutes.

This last card used the specialty paper in the mini catalog. This paper has a glitter on one side of the paper.

Stamp sets used for sentiments: sweetheart and with all my heart

Thanks for stopping by. Come back March 4-6th for another Remarkable blog tour. The theme will be going green and there are many talented demonstrators that will be sure to inspire you.

I{Heart} Hearts and Sending Love designer paper

Published by INKspired Crafting under Uncategorized

Todays card was another shoebox swap card I made a few weeks back. It uses alot of the new product in Stampin’ Up! occasion mini catalog.

Diane Carr's cardStamp set: I {Heart} Hearts, With all my heart and Tiny Tags

Scallop Trim border used on the edge of white cardstock. This punch is FREE with a 50.00 order during Sale a bration. Also used  Jewelry Tag punch for the tag.

My hostesses this weekend received this decorated tin below with nugget candy.

I took 1 inch by 3 inch piece of sending love designer paper and wrapped around the nugget. I made a belly band to go around the tin and then tied with the new satin ribbon. The heart was cut out with Scalloped heart of hearts sizzix embosslits. The heart is thin metal.

The candy bar on the right is wrapped with another sheet of Sending Love paper. This paper is amazing. One side of each sheet is glittery.

Thanks for stopping by and have a Terrific week!

Stampin Up! flower fold and Sweet Pea felt flower headbands

Published by INKspired Crafting under 3-D items

My niece requested to make headbands at her birthday party this past weekend. We used felt and ran through the big shot using Stampin”  Up! flower folds bigz xl dies. They layered the felt flowers and finished them by adding some of the sweet pea stitched felt pieces that are available in the occasions mini on pg 32.Some of the girls used corduroy buttons or the new sending Love epoxy brads. They all turned out a little  different and they loved them. My daughter has been wearing hers everyday since making it.

They also made barrettes using the sweet pea stitched felt flowers and leaves.

Here they are modeling their headbands. They really loved them, the lack of excitement on some is that the pix was taken the next morning after some stayed up way to late LOL!!!

I loved how easy the felt cut out with the big shot. I have gotten fabric and am anxious to make some fabric flower headbands and pins.

Thanks for stopping by.

Team shoebox swap card samples

Published by INKspired crafting under SU cards

Sunday afternoon I hosted a get together with various team members (up line, sideline and down line team). We got together to do a shoe box card swap featuring stamps and new product from the new catalog and sale a bration catalog that started January 5th.Pictured left to right clockwise are Karen L.(down line),Micki G.. (sideline), Nancy P.(down line), Diane C. (Up line) and Deb A. (sideline).

Here are a few of the cards we made:

We all used the new clear mount stamps and unanimously agreed that they rock! They are the same quality rubber and foam stamps but instead of mounting on wood blocks, you use clear blocks. Another advantage is these stamps will help save on storage space. WAHOO….means I can have more stamps LOL!!!!

If you haven’t booked your party to try these new products contact your demonstrator ASAP!. Not only can you try the new products available, you can earn free product with every 50.00 in purchases from now through March 30th. Want to shop now click on order on line on my sidebar.
Have a terrific evening. I will be offering some product shares soon, …luscious  satin ribbon, new epoxy brads and corduroy buttons- so stop back soon.

Denise
