Snowman soup
I am going to be out of commision for a bit as I recover from surgery I will be having next week. While I won’t be able to do my normal holiday classes…my hope is to inspire and give you holiday ideas through my blog.
If you are in need of gift ideas or need product to complete your holiday projects I am only a email or phone call away.
Tonight I wanted to share a quick gift idea that you can make up and then have on hand for when you need a small gift.
I will be making up some to have on hand and my daughter will be giving to her teachers, busdrivers, friends.
SNOWMAN SOUP
There are many versions of this project out there as well as many different poems. Here is my take on this idea:
I had to take this picture outside in the first snowfall of the season…..whats better than a hot cup of Hot chocolate when you come in from a cold snowy day
The poem I had saved on my computer and I am unsure who the author is to give proper credit
The poem goes:
I was told you have been real good this year
Always glad to hear it
With freezing weather drawing near
You’ll need to warm the spirit
So here’s a little snowman soup
complete with stirring stick
Add hot water, sip it slow
It’s sure to do the trick!
I printed this out and attached it to the 5×5 (folded in half) riding hood red cardstock (SU) . I attached the topper to the cello bag and attached the stamped snowman from SU Deer friends level 2 hostess set..
Cello bag contents-hot choco packets, marshmellows, hershey kisses and candy canes. The mug has a stirring spoon and cover. Found at my local hobby lobby.
Thanks for stopping by.
