Loving Hostess set~Because I Care
I was in a swap recently and used the new level one hostess set from Stampin’ Up! Because I care. I took a card that I offered in a recent card class :
and then I made a few changes to step it up for the swap:

Color paper and ink: New Cherry cobbler, whisper white and basic black
punches: scallop oval edge, large oval punch, scallop trim border
ribbon: SU new 1/8 taffeta ribbon black

Because I care
I love this new level one hostess set Because I Care from Stampin up. I received this card from fellow downline and Friend Karen Long yesterday. She used this set along with new ribbon and colors. You may recognize the blue it is pacific point which was an in color 2 years ago and is now in our bold bright core colors….yippppeee!!!!!!

Happy Mother’s day card and flowers
Happy mothers day to all the moms around the world. May your day be blessed and relaxing.
My son in Philly sent me a beautiful bouquet of Iris’s and stargazer lilies that are just beginning to open up. My daughter made her card for me and I just needed to share. Inside she listed why I am a terrific mom~one of the reasons she listed is that I make sure I make all her cards for her friends birthday’s, and now for her upcoming communion. She is such a love.
Now we are off to spend some time with my mom. Have a wonderful day.

RemARKable Special Occasions Blog Tour – Blissful Bride and metal sheets
Welcome back for the final day of the tour. Today I used the Blissful Bride stamp set again to make a wedding card to go along with a handmade gift.
Here is a close up of the cake:
I heat embossed with silver and colored in the flowers with Rich Razzleberry SU marker. The plum strip behind is actually a metal sheet that I embossed with the SU finial press embossing folder.
These next 2 pictures also used the plum metal but I used the SU Manhattan Flower embossing folder. I apologize for the pictures. We are in the midst of a storm and lighting tonight is the pits.
This first picture is a candle that is wrapped with the embossed metal
and I did the same for a nice bottle of Merlot

RemARKable Special Occasions Blog Tour – Blissful Bride
Welcome to day 2 of the RemARKable tour. I hope you are getting some great ideas. I know I am 
I love the new Blissful bride stamp set that is now available in the Summer mini catalog.
When I saw this set~ I imagined being able to make simple elegant wedding cards, but also being able to step it up when time allowed. Tonight I needed to make a simple card.
The dress is stamped in versamark and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. Colored in the flower and sash with pretty in pink marker. Attached to brushed silver card stock and used Pretty in pink silk ribbon, attached to a white card and done. Literally this card can be made in 10 minutes.
I participated in a black and white swap a few weeks back and the swaps I received were great. I definitely will be casing for special occasions this summer. Here are a few of my favorites:

RemARKable Special Occasions Blog Tour – Shower invitation using extra lg 2 step bird punch
Welcome back for another round of great projects from The RemARKable Stampers.
There is sure to be a project to help inspire you with the many occasions that will be coming up….graduations, weddings, summer parties, babies to name a few.
My card today uses the Extra large Two step bird punch and the small heart punch that were in the occasions mini catalog that just ended April 30th. The GOOD NEWS is that it is still available,so if you didn’t order it, and need to add it to your supplies contact your demonstrator.

I was asked to make some shower invitations for a friend. She asked if we had love birds. Her future D-I-L loves birds. These punches were perfect for the invitation.
